What is Hermes Agent?

Do I need to be technical?
No. We handle install, integrations, and security. You interact through Telegram, Slack, or WhatsApp — just like texting an assistant.
Do I need to be in San Francisco?
No. We deploy remotely worldwide. In-person is only for Mac Mini customers in the SF Bay Area who want the full white-glove experience.
Didn't OpenAI acquire Hermes Agent?
Yes, but Hermes Agent remains open-source. We're an independent service. The acquisition doesn't change our ability to deploy and support it.
Can't I just set it up myself?
You can — it's open source. But every self-install we've seen has security gaps: exposed credentials, no audit trail, no sandbox. One customer wiped their Mac Mini four times. The install is easy; the hardening is what most teams need help with. If you've already set it up, we'll audit and fix what's missing.

We start minimal — read-only email, no send. Sandbox prevents arbitrary execution. Composio gives you a kill switch: revoke any integration instantly from their dashboard. We expand access gradually as you build trust.
What about ongoing maintenance?
OAuth tokens expire. Hermes Agent ships monthly updates. Integrations break. Workflows drift. Implementation includes 14-day hypercare. For ongoing care, Managed Support keeps everything running so you don't think about it.
